Pokémon that are originated from the Unova region and are the next generation Pokémon are now available on Pokémon Go game. Now spawning in wild, hatching from eggs and appearing in raids you will be able to see Pokémon who had their first appearance in fifth generation Pokémon series of role-playing games – Pokémon White and Pokémon Black.
These are the Pokémon that have been confirmed to appear in the wild: Oshawott, Snivy, Pidove, Tepig, Blitzle, Lillipup, Purrloin, Patrat. In shiny you can stumble upon Lillipup and Patrat.
Here is the list of Pokemons that can be hatched from eggs: 2km egg – Pidove, Lillipup, Purrloin, Patrat; 5km egg – Foongus, Tepig, Snivy, Drilbur, Blitzle; 10km egg – Golett, Klink, Deino, Ferroseed, Litwick. In raids there is a possibility that you could see Klink, Patrat and Lillipup.
There will also be some Pokémon that you will be able to get only in specific parts of the world, the region-exclusive Pokémon.
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Pansear, the High Temp Pokémon
- The Americas and Greenland: Panpour, the Spray Pokémon
- Eastern hemisphere: Durant, the Iron Ant Pokémon
- Asia-Pacific: Pansage, the Grass Monkey Pokémon
- Western hemisphere: Heatmor, the Anteater Pokémon

To evolve these new Pokémon you will have to have an Uvova Stone that you will be able to get by completing the Research Breakthroughs, by completing the daily Research Tasks and earning the weekly rewards.
